Swarga is at the height of its glory. Golden palaces float above the clouds, lotus pools shimmer, and thousands bow as Indra, king of the Devas, rides through the city on his white elephant Airavata. Nothing in the three worlds can touch him.

One careless moment changes that. A sacred garland, a gift that should have been honored, ends up crushed on the palace floor. The furious sage Durvasa lays a curse on Indra and on heaven itself.
